Have a hunt around for bargains amongst the many market stalls, sample the variety of yummy foods, Old records and CDs, Antiques and Collectables, Artworks, Craft, Giftware, delicious Coffee and fresh Fruit and Vegies and yummy Waffles. Please note that my stall is not a museum. Its a shop, so I'll do a deal for you if I can.(trade-ins, swaps, laybuys, discounts for cash etc) and there's a free freshly brewed market coffee for all of my new buyers! I am desperately trying to retire but my passion for nice old things wont let me (o: My background encompasses over 25 years as an approved and trusted trader in several iconic Antique Centres in Brisbane (remember shops 22 and 53?), 40 years as a compulsive collector of nostalgia, Foundation Exhibitor at The Way We Wear vintage fashion fairs, and from time to time guest speaker at meetings of charitable and community organisations such as Lions and Rotary on the topic of "A Passion for Collecting Antiques". Something to sell?? Please note that I am presently buying estate jewellery, unusual things (think gorgeous/wierd or famous maker), OLD PEDAL CARS (oops too loud) and unwanted gold bits and pieces. Please note also that my market shop is open to shoppers only on Sunday mornings, however purchases can be collected/delivered, and items for sale can be viewed at other days and times and places by special arrangement. Come see new stock of unusual collectable and decorative smalls we've just brought back from UK for Xmas ideas.
Anything from antique silverand rolled gold- mounted walking sticks to Royal Winton chintz china to a beautifully carved Chinese table lamp and a 1930s art deco bakelite folding tabletop book rest and old steam train nic nacs.
Much of this stuff will be on display at My Mother Had One of Those in Old Petrie Town sunday morning market 8.30am to 12 midday.

This outstanding photo sign is from a Suncorp Stadium corporate box display for the 2017 State of Origin series, and features Caneron Smith, Cooper Cronk and Billy Slater hugging, presumably after Queensland scored a try.
This one off item is over 2 metres tall and has 2 hinged side sections allowing it to be free standing if required. The chair is included in the photo to emphasise the size of the item.
It shows both ###X and Holden sponsorship.
It is composed of an inner section of coolite with the photograph images over it so is quite lightweight and easy to move and store.
It would make a great gift for the rugby league fan
Condition is very good with a small edge discolouration.
It is located at my indoor stall at Old Petrie Town sunday morning market 901 Dayboro Road Whiteside /Petrie.
I will consider swapping for your unwanted gold pieces of any sort in any condition.

SOLD SORRY😕 Coupla good rustic church pews c1940s for verandah / outdoor living came in to "My Mother Had One of Those" antiques shop at Old Petrie Town through the week.
2.79 m long, 84 cm high 52 cm wide.
Sound weathered condition. Rare. Much more character than the high gloss 1970s ones you see round the place . Great gift idea.
Buy one or both. Great price $225 each. $400 the pair firm.
