Can you name the product and share with us how you use it.

It is Gum Arabic https://tinyurl.com/4cwawt3w used to controls the spread of wet colour, reduces staining & slows drying. It also increases watercolour brilliancy, gloss, and transparency, giving greater depth to each colour.

I’ve used it to make my own shimmer cubes and paint with mica powder.

Gel Medium. Why is it so amazing???

• Extending Acrylic Paint: Mixing gel into acrylic paint increases its volume and working time while lowering pigment cost, allowing you to stretch paint further without losing film strength.
• Creating Transparency and Glazing: Adding gel makes acrylic colors more transparent, which is ideal for creating luminous, layered glazes.

• Collage Adhesive: Gel medium acts as a strong, permanent glue for paper, fabric, foil, and mixed-media ephemera, with soft gels preventing paper from curling.
• Image Transfers: You can transfer laser-printed photocopies or magazine images onto wood, canvas, or paper by sealing the image face-down in thick gel and rubbing away the paper backing.
