As the designer and maker of 'Little Wilderness' pieces I use mixed media, lace, fabric and metal to bring modern and unique pieces to life! I'm inspired by so many things in this amazing universe but principally old world vintage, colour, nature and shape. These little friends are created using processes includes using a variety of paints, dyes and glues. I am very mindful of health and wellbeing for customers and myself. It is hard to assess if Product warnings apply to its process state (inhalation and skin) or finished product state(skin contact). I encourage you to make an informed personal decision in the wearing of any products be they mine or other companies:

..."Most of the materials we use in paints and mediums are rated non-toxic and their MSDS sheets can be filed without further explanation – however the very term “non-toxic” means “edible” to most people and the health regulators in the State of California have commented to the effect that artists paints in general contain a large number of chemical ingredients which may be regarded as relatively benign but which have not been fully tested for possible long term harmful effects (they could be carcinogenic for example).http://chromaonline.com/content/download/10419/149039/file/Health%20and%20safety%20the%20use%20of%20msds%20sheets%20for%20artists%20paints%20-%20info%20sheet%20301.pdf

NON HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE. This material is NOT classified as Hazardous according to health criteria of NOHSC Australia.........
However, this product contains small amounts of vinyl acetate monomer. ACGIH evaluated vinyl acetate as an A3 Animal Carcinogen: the available evidence suggests it is not likely to cause cancer in humans except under unusual exposure. The IARC monograph indicates there is little evidence in humans for carcinogenicity of vinyl acetate. There is limited evidence in experimental animals for carcinogenicity of vinyl acetate. This would normally place a substance in IARC category 3. However, because vinyl acetate is metabolised to acetaldehyde, an IARC 2B classification has been assigned.
