Today, as the flags come down, we say thank you.

To every volunteer lifesaver across Australia who has given their time this season -early starts, long patrols, missed weekends, and countless hours keeping our beaches safe.

You’ve watched over families, helped strangers, responded when it mattered most, and done it all with quiet dedication.

At 5pm today, the 2025/26 patrol season officially comes to a close.

But the impact you’ve made over the past months doesn’t stop here.
