Sufi Books began in Perth, Western Australia in 1980 under the name 'Nasihah', an arabic word meaning 'sincere advice'. In 1990, the bookshop moved to Tasmania and took up residence on the tourist train at Margate, occupying carriage #5. The shop remained there for many years until the move to the Hobart C*D. The bookshop has been through many transformations since that time and officially opened here in Broken Hill in October, 2012.

It's so nice and validating when a customer calls up to personally thank you for the cream that they started using. This particular customer used the muscle rub and was pleasantly surprised by the morning when they woke up feeling much better.
