While you're tidying up to grow more, you might question whether a plant is dead or just dormant, to decide try scratching gently on the stem to check for green, rather than pulling the whole plant out too early.

"I’ve used these Hoselink Australia heavy duty planter bags for a myriad of applications over the years . I’ve grown tomatoes , cucumbers, capsicums and no surprises, Potatoes 🥔
These grow bags are perfect for Potatoes and I’ve had great success in the past growing them in these bags .
I simply half fill the bag with 50/50 mix of compost and potting mix . I then add some blood and bone and phosphorus and mix it in well .
Plant your spuds 50mm under the soil surface and when the shoots are 100mm tall cover these shoots again .
Keep your bags moist throughout the growing season and when the plants die back you ready to harvest ." Justin O'Brien
