Recently, we went away camping for our anniversary. I decided to make something simple and easy that didn't require any counting or multiple strands of yarn.
I came up with these little googled eye worry worms.

I know it's been a while since I've posted. Work and life have been pretty busy.
But I've been working away on my new crochet piece in the background. This latest work in progress is taking me a while as I'm writing the pattern as I go.

I have been taking a bit of a break from crocheting in the last few weeks.

On November 3rd 2025, we lost our 2nd dog in 9 months. Diesel was a gorgeous staffy without a bad bone in his body. Unfortunately at 4 years of age, he began having seizures and placed on twice daily medication. On 3rd November 2025, at 9 years of age, Diesel began having seizures that wouldn't stop. A rush to the emergency vet and after 18 seizures one after the other, we made the heartbreaking decision to let him run free over the rainbow bridge to be with Sammy. The loss of both our dogs within 9 months hit us pretty hard.
Today, Diesel returned home to us from the crematorium.
This piece of crochet is for us. It's a homemade pattern and I just hope I can do it justice and get it right.
