Buderim Chempro Pharmacy We're all about you!

It’s now more than 50 years that the Buderim Pharmacy name has been linked with the local community, becoming over that time one of Buderim’s most enduring family businesses. Fast forward to today and you’ll find the friendly team at Buderim’s very own community pharmacy right in the heart of the village, has grown to more than 20 staff, including eight pharmacists, each with a passion for improving the health and well being of everyone in the community. While much has changed in our world there are some things at Buderim Pharmacy that haven’t changed like our commitment to ensuring that you are getting the very best service as well as the right combination of quality and value.

Breast awareness means being familiar with how your breasts normally look and feel so that you can notice any changes over time.

There’s no set method or schedule. Just make it a habit of regularly paying attention to your breasts by looking at and feeling them during everyday moments, such as when you’re showering, getting dressed, using body lotion or looking in the mirror.

Being breast aware does not replace having regular screening mammograms if you’re eligible, and other tests as recommended by your doctor.

Being breast aware is a personal and powerful way to take charge of your health, empowering you to understand what’s normal for your body and when to seek medical advice.

Breast cancer isn't done - and neither are we until there are Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

The perception in Australia is that breast cancer is a problem we are overcoming. However the reality is more people are being diagnosed with breast cancer, more lives are being lost, and the impact of breast cancer continues to grow.

We’ve seen remarkable results, but the job's not done. Nine people still die from breast cancer everyday in Australia.

Research is how we end deaths from breast cancer. Every breakthrough that helps prevent, detect, treat and stop breast cancer from returning starts with research. Continued investment in research is essential to saving lives.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia's leading not-for-profit organisation funding world-class breast cancer research towards a vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer. NBCF won't stop, and neither will we - until breast cancer deaths stop.
