Some days at Riverbend are simply wonderful and reaffirm my love of working in the book industry. Our primary teacher librarian book clubs had the privilege of a visit from Alison Lester, the first Australian Children's Laureate and one of our most beloved and successful authors and illustrators of children's books. Alison also gave us a sneak peek at her latest picture book to be released by UQP before Christmas.
