Calling all local makers, creatives & service providers! Applications are now open for our Halloween Market Day at Gather & Co. South West 👻

We’re looking for people who want to bring something fun, creative and a little mischievous to the day.

LOCAL MAKERS & CREATIVES
Costume makers, Halloween decor, candles, jewellery, textiles, handmade goods and more!

INTERACTIVE SERVICE PROVIDERS
Tarot readers, fortune tellers, henna, face painting, hair braiding, photo experiences, SFX makeup and more!

This means a lot to us 🥹

We love having Room 20 visit us every Tuesday and seeing these cafe trips become part of their week.

Thanks so much to South Bunbury Education Support Centre for letting us be part of their Tuesdays. We always love having you! 🤎

Each Tuesday, the students in Room 20 look forward to their visit to Gather & Co. Whether walking or riding, the journey is a valuable opportunity to practise important road safety skills and build independence within our community.

Once they arrive, students enjoy purchasing a muffin from the friendly staff at the café. We are incredibly grateful to Gather & Co. South West for creating such an inclusive and supportive space where our students always feel valued and included.

Thank you, Gather & Co, for being such a wonderful community partner and helping our students learn, grow and belong. 💛🩵

🎃 THE FIRST ONE HAS ARRIVED… 👀

Our very first Makers of Mischief creation has officially landed at Gather!

And now we’re wondering… who’s next? 👀

We’re inviting individuals, duos, groups of makers, creatives, families, community groups, schools and anyone with a wonderfully mischievous idea to get involved and create something for our Halloween decoration competition and exhibition.

Your creations will be displayed throughout October, transforming Gather into a little Halloween takeover before Makers of Mischief: A Halloween Market Day Celebration on 31 October, where visitors will get to vote for their favourite! 🎃

Entries are open throughout October, so there’s still plenty of time to get creative and make something wonderfully mischievous.

That’s a wrap on our Foundational Upcycle Skills workshop series!

Three workshops, three different ways to create, and plenty of very cool things made along the way.

A huge thank you to Cynthia Fletcher for facilitating the series and being oh so amazing throughout. 🤎

And thank you to everyone who came along (and even to all 3 workshops!!), gave something new a go, and were so patient and understanding with us through the changes along the way. We really appreciate it!

It’s been so lovely seeing everyone create, experiment and connect.
