Business Looking for a Home!

Do you have a space looking for a little more laughter, creativity, and purpose? We’re launching a community-minded initiative to brighten Bundaberg and need a home to base ourselves.

We’re after a commercial venue where we can build our colourful little world. Here's our dream list (but we’re flexible):

A 6-month lease (minimum)

Around 100m² (but we’re open to your quirks and corners)

Accessible building and toilets

Outdoor space (for community gardens or rogue glitter spills)

Kitchen (commercial or upgradeable for low-risk food prep)

Storage space (for all the googly eyes and pom-poms)

A cake rainbow to brighten your day...

And a well overdue update!

I have loved having an outlet for my interest in herbs, sustainable skincare and baths.
The highlights:
✨️Making "potions" to help those I love and care for. 4 year old me would be STOKED.
✨️Repeat business, feedback, encouragement and all the warm and fuzzies 🥰
✨️Expanding my knowledge on herbs and sustainable ingredients that are safe to use for skincare, self-care and to consume, during pregnancy, post-partum and breastfeeding
✨️An exhaustive list of home remedies for my family (and friends IYKYK 😂)

The very best part of the last 2.5 years has been volunteering and working with toddlers and teens, at a local childcare centre and vocational school.
I've watched toddlers eat spoonfuls of coffee grounds and helped them make some glorious gifts for the special people in their lives. It is chaos. There is often quite a mess left behind but the results are worth it!
I've watched 15 year olds have the time of their lives making potions and slime and fluid art. In Term 1 of this year, we made extra bath soaks seed bombs for the school to use to raise funds for senior prom. I also learnt last term that snacks are life and a fed teenager is a calm(ish) one. My classes with those almost-adults are beyond rewarding and I am so grateful for the opportunities I have to continue this type of work.

With that said, lots happening and lots more to do but Bath and Brew has served its purpose in its current form and is no longer trading. The name may reappear as part of a program at a later date. 👀

Thank you to everyone who supported my little herb hobby and to those that are supporting me as I start this next venture. I'm pretty bloody excited and so thrilled to have you all along for the ride 💗

✨️educator and artist call out✨️

I am chasing some SCRAP potters clay to reclaim for a project. This clay won't be fired or sold as pottery.
I am happy to pay for it. And the condition doesn't matter as long as there aren't any nasty contaminants.
Really hoping that there's a stash of clay in a schools art room that has turned to dust/brick and won't be used.

I will take any quantity you want to get rid of. I just really don't want to use brand new clean potters clay for this project. It would be a bit of a waste 😅
Please share with anyone you think might be able to help.

I have already spoken to the Bundaberg Pottery Group Inc and they use all of their scrap clay in house.

Hi friends 😁 please share with anyone you think might be able to help.
I'll be volunteering my time and running some cute little workshops with some students this term. My start date has been moved up by a week and I'm chasing a few extra things. I really wanted to source most of this from market place and op shops but the date change has me a bit short on time.
I have a limited budget to work with but am happy to pay cash, swap for coffee body scrub or bake you something tasty in return.
I need:
Baskets, buckets, carry boxes or trays for students to put their materials in. Roughly A4 size would be good but smaller/larger will still work.
Pens - acrylic paint pens, permanent markers, assorted pens for doodling.
Scissors - any type or size
Plastic plates and cups - prefer reusable bit any will do.
Painting supplies - acrylic craft paints, brushes, small rollers and sponges, paint palettes 🎨

If you have any of these items or have seen them in an op shop in the last week or so, please let me know!

I recently attended a local childcare centre to help the littles create some coffee body scrub to gift for Mother's Day.
It was everything you'd expect and more! So messy 😍 so much learning and skill development AND at least half of them think the scrub tastes pretty good too 🤣
My heart was so full of joy afterwards, I cant wait to go back and help them make bath soaks or spice rubs or gourmet oils 💗 Toddlers are the best! 😅

Obviously no photos to post of the littles but just picture the mess in the bowl... but a whole daycare room 😱🤣
