Today on World Maternal Mental Health Day take a simple action to help us raise awareness about perinatal anxiety and depression by sharing this post!

Up to one in five expecting or new mothers and one in ten expecting or new fathers will experience perinatal anxiety or depression. The illness affects around 100,000 families across Australia every year.

Left untreated, it can have a devastating impact on parents, partners, baby and the rest of the family. In the worst cases, lives can even be put at risk.

It's so important that more people in our community learn to spot the signs of perinatal anxiety and depression. Seeking help early leads to a faster recovery.
