A coffee. A conversation. A community 🏡☕

☕🏡 This Homelessness Week, take a moment to connect through coffee, creativity and conversation. Homelessness Week runs 3rd to 9th August.

This Thursday grab a takeaway coffee from a participating CafeSmart café (find one near you here: https://cafesmart.streetsmartaustralia.org)
Two local favourites taking part are The Journey Alliance and Alowishus Delicious.

Then wander over to the Bundaberg CBD Pavilion between 10 am and 4 pm to join local artist Larissa Dabrowski for Doorways and Origami House-Making.

Larissa will guide you in folding a simple origami house, helping create a symbolic artwork that encourages conversations about homelessness, belonging and the importance of everyone having a safe place to call home. Community support services will also be onsite throughout the day to provide information and assistance.

Every year we have our online followers and customers from out of town ask if we have an online sale?

The answer is no not at this point.

Why?

Because beyond the offering of a Sale, these nights are about giving back, coming together to give thanks and celebrating the community that has been quietly building over 34years.

To see the sheer number of smiling faces walk through the doors on these nights is one of the most incredible experiences, and we wouldn’t trade it for the world 🙏

In a world that keeps telling us that online is the only way and that Mum and Dad Bricks and Mortar stores are a thing of the past we say
“Not on our watch “🙏

We love the social interactions, the ability to offer customers the whole experience, to see to feel to touch and to take in the beautiful vibes that Natures Radiates.

With all of this said we whole heartedly love and appreciate ALL of our community Online and Instore so we have come to a compromise…

As of today if there is something that you love that is included in the Sale and you can have someone come instore to collect on the night we are happy to pop aside up to 3 items in total . This offering is also open to anyone who can not make it themselves on the night but has someone that could collect on their behalf.

Now this only works when we have clear boundaries that will be upheld…

1. The items MUST be collected on the evening between the Sale Hours

Thursday 6th August 2026
5pm - 8pm

***We will not be making any exceptions so please don’t be offended if we do not honour the discount*****

2. The items must be collected in person. No postage is available.

3. If your items are not collected in the night they shall be returned to the shelf and the discount no longer applies

These are our 3 simple boundaries and we appreciate your understanding 🙏
