Unique Recycled Gifts – Made from Annemieke Mein’s 2024 Exhibition Banners

I’m excited to share a special collection of one-off, handmade items created from the advertising banners used for Annemieke Mein’s 2024 exhibition at the Gippsland Gallery in Sale.

Each piece has been individually crafted by myself using high-quality vinyl, showcasing elements of the beautiful textile and stitching designs that Annemieke is renowned for.

This project reflects my passion for sustainability and demonstrates how creatively we can reuse, recycle and recreate through the thoughtful repurposing of materials.

• A4 journal/diary covers — $40
• A5 journal/diary covers — $25
• Phone/glasses pouches — $15
• Key tags — $10
• Bookmarks — $10

Each item is completely unique, with no two pieces the same. All funds raised will be donated to the Gippsland Art Gallery, Sale – Friends of the Gallery.

My basket making is coming to an end - I’ve totally enjoyed the 10 year journey of hand dyeing, designing and stitching each and every one.

From now until Christmas I will stitch the remaining rope I have in stock and attend some markets along the way.

I still have a colourful range at Main Street Merchants Gippsland which are currently 25% off until August 8.

I wish to thank the many 100’s of people I have met along the way and thank you for your support.

We wanted to share a heartfelt update with you all. Despite pouring countless hours of effort and energy into bringing Main Street Merchants to life, we’ve faced a few unexpected setbacks. As a result, we’ve made the tough decision to delay our opening until early in the new year.

While we’re disappointed not to open before Christmas, this extra time will allow us to ensure that the space we create truly reflects the incredible talents and treasures of the local artisans and entrepreneurs we represent.

We know many of you were excited to visit and shop with us this holiday season, and we deeply apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Please know that this decision was made with care and with our long-term vision in mind.

✨ We can’t wait to welcome you in the new year with a space that celebrates creativity, community, and connection. Stay tuned for updates and an official opening date—2025 will be our year!

I’m super excited to be part of this fabulous new store in Sale! Drop by when you get a chance - I’m sure you will be blown away by the amazing products our local artisans have on offer. Grab a coffee, a bunch of flowers and unique gifts all in the one store. Open 10am - 4pm 7 days a week.

We’re thrilled to finally announce our soft opening on Thursday, 12 December 2024! 🛍️✨

We know we’re a few weeks behind schedule, but we couldn’t wait any longer to open our doors and share our unique artisan retail collective with you – just in time for Christmas! It’s the perfect place to find those special gifts and treasures for the festive season.

Our vintage market, The Storehouse Collective, opened last Sunday and is already welcoming visitors 7 days a week! If you haven’t checked it out yet, be sure to pop by – it’s tucked behind us in the laneway and filled with incredible vintage finds.

This soft opening gives us a chance to welcome you before the holiday rush. But don’t worry – we’re saving the BIG celebration for the New Year, complete with food trucks, live entertainment, and all the fun! 🎶🍴🎊
