Big B Books

21/08/2026

The Winter holidays, the commencement of the light rail to Burleigh Heads, and the added sunshine has made for a vibrant atmosphere of late. Thank you to all our local, interstate and overseas visitors for popping in to say hello, trade books and grab future reads...

Thank you to the lovely people who got in touch and to those who left kind messages. We are sorted 😍, love our bookish community!

Are you an avid reader?
Do you have a carpark available at your home or apartment?
With the new 3-hour parking restrictions coming in from next month, we are looking for someone within easy walking distance of James St who would be willing to exchange books for a single carpark during 9-5 operating hours Monday-Sunday.
In exchange, we can provide you with your own ‘library service’ of preloved books. We have the best range on the Gold Coast, ask anyone 😉.
PM to chat further 📚 🚙 !!
