Hey everyone, you may have noticed we’ve been pretty quiet on here…we’ve been slowly stepping back from the business to focus on our families and other ventures and the time has come to finally say goodbye as we close this wonderful and challenging chapter of our lives.
We would like to say a big thank you for your support over the past few years. It has been so great to receive your orders from far and wide including all the way over in the US! And to all the stores that took a chance on stocking our small brand - thank you - it’s been a dream come true to see our products so beautifully merchandised and in the windows of some of our most loved shopfronts. To publications like Country Style that not only featured our products across multi-page spreads, but also on the magazine cover (!!) and brands like Faithfull and Spell and artists like Whitney Spicer that collaborated with us - these moments have been such a thrill and beyond what we could have hoped for.
So why are we calling it a day? As demand for our brand grew, so too did our families. We took on the challenge of juggling both the business and motherhood but over time our priorities shifted and we felt we needed slow down and reassess where we wanted to invest our time and energy. Family life teamed with a challenging economic climate, rising shipping and manufacturing costs, etc, ultimately has led to the decision to close Le Weekend.
Where to from here? We won’t be having a closing down sale (sorry!) as we sold out of pretty much everything, however you can still find Le Weekend products via our stockists. For baskets & picnic rugs, head over to to stock up for Christmas!
As for us? We’re looking forward to spending more quality time with our families and exploring other creative pursuits.
