Every one knows someone, and will hopefully be someone to grow old.🌱🌳

Maybe you know someone living in Aged Care, or maybe they’re at home alone with occasional visits from nurses.

So many stories and skills are fading out with the passing of our elders, and as a result, today’s younger generations are missing out on learning sustainability supporting skills.

This is where we come in.

Our Timeless Threads is an NFP organisation looking to reshape what it means to grow old, supporting the sharing of our legacies of lifetime learnings, and living out our twilight years with autonomy, connection, dignity, and joy. 💜

Our location at 18 Acacia St, Byron Bay Induzzy is not only an OP Shop, but also a creative community hub with the purpose of rethreading intergenerational connections through the sharing of skills and stories amongst young, and old, and every one in between. 🫖

We are seeking support to fund our space, so we can continue to provide heart led, community connecting workshops and experiences.

Op shop and creative hub opening Hours:
Mon–Sat, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Private workshop bookings:
- Available: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM (mornings)
- Free space available for donation-based community workshops focused on sustainable arts or intergenerational connections.

Casual co-working ($20 - four hour session + materials)
- Available: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (afternoons)

OTT has scaled up to bring aged‑care programs directly to our community hub, including regular bus trips to support intergenerational connections through sustainable arts, high tea events and story telling workshops.

We need a cash boost this season to support project management, infrastructure and volunteer training— donations are tax‑deductible via our DGR through Seed, Northern Rivers.

We’re excited to properly announce our major scale‑up after some wild, unexpected behind the scenes movements:

Our Timeless Threads is more than just an op shop — we’re now a co‑creative community hub focused on sustainability, intergenerational connection and community healing.

Led by a registered nurse, our not‑for‑profit uses creative workshops to reduce fashion waste, restore wellbeing and strengthen local relationships.

We’ve taken a HUGE leap of trust to expand as this was our only option to remain in the space we have lovingly created — please help us to fully implement our sustainability and aged care programs to support our double mission here.
