Each day, as our glorious sun slips below the horizon, we see pastel skies and and a multitude of vibrant colours scattered about as clouds and silhouettes.

This is a strong and energising necklace in both appearance and the stones tied within. Ombre amber hues are intended to replicate the shifting sky, while crystals symbolise the transition in time as afternoon becomes evening.

The setting sun 〰️ a single sunstone at the throat, this is a dazzling and powerful crystal that promotes leadership and warmth.

Dusk 〰️ those incredible intermediate moments where our sky sets on fire.Tiger eye and carnelian, both brilliant and intense. Each represent courage and foster energy.

Night sky 〰️ amethyst (calm and soothing) and lapis lazuli (honesty and integrity) emulating those final hours of light and the twinkling stars of night.

That unmistakeable flash of blue on black delicately fluttering by. The Ulysses butterfly is an icon of Tropical North Queensland and so often seen around our favourite shady freshwater swimming holes.

There is a layering of underlying meanings of the Ulysses necklace. Butterflies are symbolic of many things but arguably the most important aspects are transformation and self expression. Lapis Lazuli is a brilliant royal blue stone that represents truth and loving communication. Blue on black may be seen by some as portraying a warrior-like strength.

Put together, I like to think that the wearer of this necklace is a strong, courageous yet gentle soul, discovering their self-identity and expressing their truth in peaceful, loving ways. In doing so, inner beauty, purity and an untethered spirit is revealed 🦋

Deep and vibrant greens, rich and textured earthy hues. Damp and peppery smells, flickering dappled sunlight, pockets of cool and steamy air. A split second of the rainforest experience.

The Rainforest necklace was the first imagined in this series and the reason why is no secret. Up here we are surrounded by ancient tropical rainforests and blessed to spend our days amongst them.

Peridot, Moss Agate and Picture Jasper are tied together with cognac amber in this piece, so you can wear a little reminder of the rainforest where ever you are 💚

The Shore necklace combines soft blues and textured golden yellows to invoke the calming sense of being by the seaside.

Larimar, apatite and citrine feature in this piece, made with raw butter Amber beads. Perfect for any big or mini ocean lover 💙

To kick off the re-emergence of this little side hobby of mine (new logo... who dis!?) I am excited to share a new collection of amber and gemstone necklaces, each representing an element of nature that is close to my heart.

"Inspired by nature" is the theme with a strong connection to the beauty and wonder that is experienced when immersed in the many and diverse landscapes of Tropical North Queensland.

In keeping with the slow pace that has been imagining, designing and weaving these pieces, I will be revealing them one by one over the coming days and weeks. A like, comment or share on any of them would be so very appreciated 🙏

Hey, hola, aloha!

It's been a while. I decided to take an extended break from beading amber jewellery for a few reasons. Mainly life and family (including this little addition).

But now... I am back! Albeit in a limited capacity. Time is such a finite resource as we all know. The juggle of relationships, self-care, chores, play and hobbies is quite the delicate balance.

I'll be slowly 🐌 sharing some of my newest creations here, once again. I will also be selling some of my older one-off pieces at reduced prices so keep your eyes peeled for that!
