Most people only see the beauty when they look at these kinds of photos taken of the Reef and Marine biologists see Bleaching.

I see a lot more, it reminds me of how the Great Barrier Reef was created and where we once lived. We call it "Yuulpin" which is a long tail.

Question. Did you know that Aboriginal and European people built the economy of Victoria together through Entrepreneurship and technology that fell out of account in the 20th century, untaught and forgotten?

This episode of Australian history is uncommon and one you may not have heard before, certainly not taught in school growing up in Australia. This part of history has been shelved and forgotten for 100 years but has now been brought back to life today, and one I feel is very important to share.

The original people of Australia hold the only known description of Pulsating Red Giant Variable Stars in any oral tradition in the world. Some of these Giants are called Kudlilla and Wolta.

The Milky Way stretching from the Southern Cross through to the constellations of Orion, Auriga and Ta**us is a huge river in the sky with reeds and huts running along the edge and men hunt Emu along the banks. Some women also collect berries and reeds along the river edge, astronomers know this group of stars as the 'Pleiades’ or "Seven Sisters."

When the last ice age was at its coldest (24,000 to 19,000 years ago), sea levels worldwide were about 130 metres below current levels. As the ice melted, the sea rose rapidly, eventually flooding the connection between Barrow Island and the mainland.

- Excavations here revealed evidence of Aboriginal occupation dating back at least 50,000 years.
