From Badu Island to the big stage at the QLD Training Awards! 🌴🏆 While the Badu Store team didn't take out the top prize, they had a fantastic time in Cairns and came home with finalist awards we're all super proud of 🌟

🎉 We're super excited that Badu Island Store made it to the Top 3 Finalists for the Queensland Training Awards – Medium Employer of the year!

We are beyond proud of our incredible team. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without every single one of them, and thank you to our trainer Lisa for her guidance 👏🏾

Our very own John is also a finalist for Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year! Every morning, he greets customers at the Express with a big smile – now he’s stepped up as a supervisor and continues to show us his talent.

We’ll be heading to the Gala Dinner in Cairns for the awards next month. Joining us are our two local legends, Maira and Stef, who share nearly 50 years of experience at the store between them 💪

If you pronounce our name correctly in English, it would rhyme with 'Sunday'.
This model was safe and predicable but unfortunately was discontinued in 2015.
