Here is the winning entry from the Duel Hobby Challenge!

Yes, that prosecutor IS actually flying and yes the whole thing smells of ozone and open sewers. Or maybe that's just my imagination.

Spectacular work from everyone, including those of you who did not get yours completed in time, keep going and finish them up!

To take part in this months Hobby Challenge, you just have to paint a character before Wednesday the 23rd. Any character, named or un-named from any Warhammer system. It could be a Freeguild Marshal or Commissar Yarrick riding atop a converted Baneblade.

If you haven't got anything to paint, pop into the store and we can sort you out. We can even help you kitbash one from the minis of the month!

It's Hero Bash time!!!!!

Join us in-store tomorrow at 10am for the first of this month's Hero Bash games.

This time round, you can bring 2 Warhammer 40000 characters that cost less than 200 point each OR 1 Character that costs MORE than 200 points.

The little guys get 4 bonus wounds and every model gets one respawn. No army rules or detachments, just raw datasheet power! This weekend's mission will be a free for all as everyone searches the buldings for the artifact that brought them all here in the first place!

Don't forget, if you want to have some fun and roll some dice but you don't have your own models or you don't even know how to play, that's no problem, you can use some of ours and learn as you go!

Make sure you pop in next week to vote on the Hobby Challenge. This month it was to create a duel and we have some cracking entries.

Next month we are doing characters. So all you need to do to take part is to paint up a new character. We'll have small and large categories for those of you who want to paint something like a Daemon Primarch.

The Saturday Gaming activities for September will also be Hero Bashes for the 10am matches, so you can play with your hero as you paint them!

Our Saturday Gaming activities for the next few weeks are going to be small 400 point forces with no single unit above 200 points.

You can come along and play at 10am for the streamlined game, perfect for your first ever battle. Or you can jump into the 2pm game for something slightly more advanced.

Whichever one you make it to, you can bring your own models or use ours, you don't have to know how to play, you can learn as you go and if you want, you can just watch if you'd prefer!

What a pair of action-packed races that was!

The Heldrake managed to pull far ahead of the pack once the power ups spawned on the track in spite of the Stompa's intermittent fire in game one.

Game two saw a Foetid Bloat drone and a Corvus Blackstar join the fray as well. Turns out a stealth dropship with a double move powerup can cover quite the distance!

If you would like to join in with our Saturday Gaming activities, we play every Saturday at 10am and 2pm. You can join in with your own models or borrow some of ours, you don't even need to know how to play!

Just a quick heads up, the store will be a little bit late opening tomorrow morning, the 20th.

We should be open by about 10am for all your Warhammer needs.

There will also be a game/battle raging through the store tomorrow if you want to come and watch. There will be cool miniatures, dice being rolled and much lamenting over poor luck or celebration of good fortune!
