Welcoming Marjorie Drage to Our Crafter Sisterhood🥰

We are delighted to welcome Marjorie Drage to our Crafter Sisterhood.

Marjorie is an artist whose practice is deeply rooted in symbolism, dreams, nature and the quiet stories that shape our inner lives. Through her hand-carved lino prints and paintings across different mediums, she explores themes of belonging, resilience, curiosity, transformation and our connection with nature and one another.

What particularly resonates with us is Marjorie’s belief that creativity is not simply about making art, but about creating meaning, connection and a sense of belonging. Her thoughtful approach to art and community makes her a wonderful addition to our growing creative family.

We are very pleased to share two of Marjorie’s works with you and look forward to introducing more of her practice to our community.

Meet Anna Avakyan, whose unique artworks transform old watch parts, gears, springs and fabric into beautiful pieces inspired by time, memories and everyday experiences.

Her work is deeply connected to childhood memories of watching her watchmaker grandfather bring timepieces to life. ❤️

Last Sunday, we had such a lovely afternoon at the Whitlam Mingle Space making candles, getting creative and having lots of laughs! 💕

It was so lovely to see everyone getting involved and creating their own beautiful candles. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! 🥰

Come and join us for a relaxed and fun Beginner Candle Making Workshop hosted by Crafting My Story.

Whether you've never made a candle before or you're simply looking for a creative way to spend your Saturday, this workshop is for you. We'll guide you through the process step by step, and you'll leave with your very own handmade candle to enjoy at home or gift to someone special.
