📣 **South Canberra Community Markets CANCELLED – Saturday 12 September**

Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this Saturday’s South Canberra Community Markets at Kambah.

A family of plovers is currently nesting on the oval where the Markets are held. Plovers can become highly protective of their nesting area, and native bird nests are protected under ACT legislation.

After considering the safety of visitors, stallholders and the birds, as well as the limited options available to relocate the Markets at short notice, cancellation was the safest and most responsible option.

We know this will be disappointing for our stallholders and everyone who was planning to join us, and we appreciate your understanding.

Thank you for continuing to support the South Canberra Community Markets.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for our Christmas Markets on Saturday 5 December. 🎄
