Pups of Pialligo! Sort of. 😜
Meet Percy the brush tail possum, whose mum died in a car accident in Yass. He’s about 4-5 months old and weighed only 175g this morning. So tiny.
When he gets to 200gm he will go into a birdcage to help with his recovery and healing. The wonderful team at Queanbeyan Wildcare have let this fabulous foster family take care of him (round the clock feeding is just one of the tasks this sleep deprived mum is doing ) in the eventual hope of releasing him.
Thank you for bringing him in and what a great job you are doing! One of the perks of working at Rodney’s is meeting some amazing humans and gorgeous furry friends.

Do you have deciduous trees such as:
🌳Peach
🌳Nectarine
🌳Apricot
🌳Plum
🌳Cherry
🌳Apple
🌳Pear
Or other deciduous plants such as:
🌳Roses
🌳Grapevines ?

Now is great time (before budswell) to spray these as a preventative for fungal diseases such as peach leaf curl, brown rot, black spot, powdery mildew and some canker diseases.
It also kills overwintering mites and some insect eggs, and reduces disease pressure before spring growth begins.

It’s easier than you think, just ensure you are wearing protective gear.
