We understand no one was happy about shifting fees to customers.
I understand that having to pay extra money because you are using card seems unfair.
But for the last two years it has saved us one month of rent a year. It really does add up.

If small businesses weren't struggling they wouldn't be looking on how to safe every $.

Well now I will have to find extra $600 a month.
Don't worry we have not raised our prices.

There are so many sides to running a small business that people never see.

The late nights. The weekends. The worrying. The planning. The ordering, unpacking, posting, cleaning, fixing, creating, answering messages… and so much invisible labour that is mostly unpaid. At least it has been for me. I truly hope other small business owners are better at actually paying themselves. ❤️

I had such big hopes for my little business.

At one point, I was seriously thinking about opening another store in Gungahlin. Maybe even one in Sydney one day.

I dreamed big, and I gave it everything I had. And so did my incredible staff.

It hasn’t turned out quite the way I once imagined it would, but I’m still incredibly proud of what we built.

And we’re not finished yet.

We still have 5 glorious months to go ❤️

So we’re going to enjoy them, keep bringing you beautiful things, and make the most of every last bit of this little business that has been such a huge part of my life.
