Plastic Free July is a time to double down and make small changes that increase impact. It’s about choosing to refuse the single use plastics that are everywhere in our daily lives. It’s a personal challenge that’s part of Global effort.

Today, we’re remembering the power of reusing what you already have. Practically, that can look like relocating old reusable containers, cups, and shopping bags to get more use out of them.

Many people find that reusing what they already have or purchasing second hand are great ways to save money, as well as preventing items from ending up in landfill.

May 18–24 is Made in Australia Week 🇦🇺

I’m throwing down a challenge: show me a dishwasher or laundry detergent sheet that is genuinely MADE in Australia.
Not Australian-owned.�Not “designed in Australia.”�Actually manufactured here.
Because once you start looking closely, the wording is actually:
• “Australian owned”�• “Designed in Australia”�• Or no manufacturing origin listed at all

I’ve spoken to a lot of people about the cleaning and laundry products they use, and most genuinely believe the detergent sheets they use are made in Australia. I’ve been looking for some time and haven’t found one yet.

This Made in Australia Week, let’s support products that are genuinely made here — look for the Australian Made logo and check the fine print.

If a product is truly Australian made, brands are usually proud to say it clearly.
