Hey gang! Mal here. I haven't been in the shop lately because I'm in the UK! But I don't stop working. I am spying on the comic shops I come across to see how we can do better.
I visited Forbidden Planet and Gosh! In London. I learnt a new truck or two and spent way too many pounds.
And then in Edinburgh I discovered La Belle Adventure. A small shop only a couple of years old stocking French and English Language graphic novels. I spent a long time chatting with Benoit (unfortunately I didn't get to meet Annabelle) about comics and the comics business... And I spent way too many pounds. And learnt a trick or two.
I forgot to check out the comic shops in Glasgow. But I bought a cheese toastie from a funny man in a blue box.
Also, went to the V&A museum to see Raphael's Cartoons. They weren't very funny. But impressive given he's a turtle.
