During the International Music Festival, this well known bass had to attend the Emergency Department.
Unfortunately it needed bypass surgery, with the trusty Richter Electronics coming out and some simplification required. Being time sensitive, the job could have been a lot neater, but also far more complicated.
I wish the artist, Davin Ojala, many happy further hours in creating some wonderful music with the Instrument.

But it took this to get to that...and that then became this!

So I thought I would share the proper pictures of my latest build. They will be up on my website once I complete the 'Build Notes'.
I believe the owner is happy how it turned out.
Also included was the tube rack pre- amp and bass power supply. The EQ is powered by +- 15VDC and the L.E.D's are also powered by this external power supply. Battery Range anxiety does not exist. The rack unit also contains a powered mixer so the bass can be run in conventional mono mode.
If desired the signal can be split ( neck and bridge pickups) for Bi- amping.
More details will eventually be available in my build notes.
