Amy Beggs-French from Deep Blue Ceramics is exhibiting on the plinths this October joining Penny Deacon in 'Quiet Places'. Amy's work through clay, explores colours, landforms and water. She uses gathered wild clay from around Canberra expressing a deep connection to the land. Her earthy and minimalist work sits beautifully with Penny's landscapes. You can sense the quietness of their work. Opening Saturday October 3rd. At 2pm.

Announcing our next exhibition! 'Quiet Places'. Paintings by Penny Deacon Penny Deacon and ceramics by Amy Beggs-French Deep Blue Ceramics Both artists explore place and their deep connections. Penny through ethereal landscapes of the region. Amy uses wild clay inlaid in her vessels, a beautiful reference to place and the land of the ACT. Both explore weather and light. Three whole individual gumnuts thrown and joined, then carved. White Raku clay with glaze. 42cm x 12cm. This is the final piece in body of work, available for sale.
