As we get ready to celebrate 68 years of creating opportunities and making an impact across Western Australia, we're looking back at the people who made that journey so special.

And that's where you come in.

Did you work at Good Sammy? Volunteer with us? Find your favourite op shop treasure? Donate regularly? Know someone whose life has been changed through Good Sammy? Or maybe you have a story that's uniquely yours.

We'd love to hear it!

We're inviting our community to send us your Good Sammy stories, photos and videos to help celebrate Good Sammy Day on 7 September! Some of your stories may even be featured across our social media channels as part of the celebration 💛

Another reminder that there's so much more to Good Sammy than you might know. Like DRIVE.

The DRIVE program helps people with disability learn road rules, build driving skills and grow their confidence, both on and off the road.

In this video Term 2 student Kyle highlights the difference the DRIVE programs road safety messages can make, even when you are a passenger.

We're proud to deliver the DRIVE program with the support of the Road Safety Commission Western Australia , helping create safer and more confident road users across our community.

All thrifters great and small 🧸

Our cuddly toy overstock has found some very happy new homes with Mikey and his pals at Animal Protection Society of WA Inc.

We always appreciate every donation, and the biggest help is donating quality, clean, undamaged items. But not everything can make its way to store shelves.

That's where the magic of the circular economy comes in. We work hard to find new homes, uses or recycling possibilities for as many donations as possible, helping keep quality items out of landfill and giving them a second life.

Because every second chance counts, and that's what the circular economy is all about. 💚

POV: You just smashed a semester of Dare to Dream ✨

Our very first Dare to Dream students have officially completed the program, and we couldn't be prouder! The group embraced every challenge, gave new things a go, built confidence, learnt workplace, job and interview skills, made new mates, and so much more!

This might be the end of their Dare to Dream journey, but it's only the beginning of what's next. We can't wait to celebrate them again at Good Sammy Graduation later this year.

And guess what? Semester 2 kicks off next week! We can't wait for you to meet our newest Dare to Dream group, so keep an eye on our page for all the behind-the-scenes moments.

Good Sammy is proud to partner with the Stan Perron Charitable Foundation to pilot the
Dare to Dream scholarship program, empowering year 11 and 12 students with disability to build work skills and confidence for a smooth transition from school to employment and training pathways.
