Canungra Op Shop is a fund raising part of Lighthouse Community Services charity. Profits are used to support Homes 4 Hope to assist families escaping DV, educational infrastructure, and social enterprise in Vanuatu, and also to support local community needs and projects.

One of the ladies decreed last week: Next Wednesday we all need to wear leopard print clothing next week (1st April) and so we all found something suitable and got a group photo.

Some of the ladies at Bean In Cafe made an effort with their leopard print scrunchies. Do we need to make this an annual Canungra thing? 🤔😁

Don’t declutter.
Kick back, enjoy the fam and save all that cleaning up stuff till 2026.
That way you’ll also be kind to your local op shop and save them from having to deal with a tsunami of stuff.

Here’s a photo of (most of) our team of Super Sorters, Cleaners, Organisers & Salvagers from our end of year lunch. ❤️🌺 There is a LOT that happens behind the scenes in any op shop. We all do what we can to save things from becoming landfill. It’s not all hard work though … it’s also friendship & the satisfaction of making a positive difference in the world. All of those things are worth celebrating. 🥰
