This was a challenging stair, or at least the balustrade section was but with a bit of careful drawing and some great work from Markus at Exklusive metal it came up a treat. The owner was very happy.

This is a floating stair look. It has a large metal plate bolted to the wall, which is solid concrete. The metal plate has two RHS welded to it protruding out and making the tread. We then make a timber pocket that slides over the steel giving the look of a solid tread floating in the air. The timber is spottedgum.

this is a very beautiful staircase absolutely lovely to work on architect design. It’s a Hidden stringer in the wall, the middle bars hanging from the ceiling supporting the treads with a bracing bar underneath to highlight and strengthen the treads. The trades are in American oak stained to match the flooring. The wall has been installed with an LED light under it to highlight the stairs.

This is a beautiful staircase. Steel center beam with laminated Blackbutt Treads and handrail. The fixings have been covered at the end of the treads, which give a much nicer look, also the handrail is on top of the glass with return down ends.
