On this day in 2012 The Mosh Pit opened its doors. The council decided to close the road out the front of my first little place to do road works but the people made their way anyway.
My very first customer was Steve Lewer. He turned up with a giant book that had his entire collection in it. I was stunned!! He dug through the suitcase of 45s I had on a fold up table.
Sadly Steve left this mortal coil in June. I miss him.
Tonight we’ll have a toast to him because I know he’d have been here to help us celebrate.
Happy Birthday to my little shop. Who knew it’d last this long!!

Quite a pile for today’s Virtual Dig!

There’s a big stack of soundtracks too, ranging from The Godfather Part 1 & 2 right through to Edward Scissorhands and Batman.
