Celebrating 80 Years of Lanson Trading 🎉
This year marks an incredible milestone — 80 years of serving our community.
What began on Walker Street as McInnes & Mason evolved into Lanson Trading, a business built on hard work, innovation, and supporting people on the land. From supplying the dairy industry, to lawn equipment and Yamaha motorcycles, our journey eventually led us to the one thing country communities simply can’t live without — water.
By the mid-1980s, Lanson had become the region’s trusted name for windmill and piston pump repairs and installations. As technology changed and traditional manufacturers disappeared, Ken ensured these vital systems lived on by purchasing the original cast iron molds to continue manufacturing parts for customers across Australia.
In 2000, new ownership brought a new era of innovation. When Lorentz Solar entered Australia, Lanson was among the first to install their systems, continuing our commitment to staying ahead of the industry.

But this milestone isn’t just about us. It’s about the communities who have supported us every step of the way. From sponsoring footy, soccer, camp drafts, rodeos, and countless local events, we’ve always believed in giving back to the people who’ve backed us for generations.
