βοΈ DETECTOR TRAINING DAY βοΈ
Today we took Joanna, David and Greg out into the bush for an informative detecting session
Joanna had her Minelab Gold Monster 1000 in tow and wanted to gain some insights into her machine operation, prospecting techniques, best practices and some tips and tricks. We also supplied some additional Minelab Gold Monster 2000 machines so David and Greg could join in the fun
The morning started off with a rundown from Lachy about how a metal detector functions, the different types of detectors and their benefits in different grounds and areas, machine settings, machine startup and ground balancing along with different ground conditions and how these can affect your machine
Once we had the machines up and running we then focused on identifying different targets, and best practice and methods for target recovery
Once everyone felt comfortable with their machines it was time to get the coils on the ground for some first hand experience and to put the lesson to the test
It wasn't long before Greg had his first piece of gold in the scoop, followed by David and then Joanna! This added an extra level of enthusiasm and excitement to the day
After watching and interacting with all three participants over the course of the morning we're confident that the group now have the skills needed to enhance their chances of finding that wonderful yellow metal
We would like to thank Joanna, David and Greg for joining us this morning and wish you all the best on your next adventure!
For any of our followers that are interested in doing a training session with us, we can customise training days to suit your needs and abilities. We also have detectors available for anyone who purely wants to try their hand at this great hobby before committing to buying their own machine
