The first Bad Boy mower wasn’t built in a garage - it was designed there.

Founders Phil Pulley and Robert Foster began by tinkering with an idea, testing designs and pushing limits until they had a prototype that felt different.

When it came time to build it properly, manufacturing began in a 20,000-square-foot facility with a clear mission: create a zero-turn mower that didn’t follow the rules.

As the story goes, the machine was rough, loud and unapologetically tough - and someone simply called it a “Bad Boy.” The name stuck.

In 2002, the first Bad Boy mower rolled off the line, setting the standard for heavy-duty steel, bold design and an attitude that refused to blend in.
