Water Stories highlights the interconnection between people and the environment, reminding us that water is not just a resource, but a living force that connects and sustains us all.

Applications are now open for the SALA in Lights Award sponsored by Foodland & Novatech Creative Event Technology.

This award aims to illuminate the work of a South Australian visual artist taking part in the 2026 SALA Festival. The winner's artwork will be the subject of an after-dark projection on a prominent wall in the CBD during the 2027 SALA Festival with the support of Novatech (valued at $10,000). The winner will also receive $2,500 prizemoney from Foodland, a further $2,500 loaded onto a Foodland in-store Credit Card, and their artwork digitally displayed in Foodland Stores across South Australia in SALA Festival 2027.

Re-Opened at last Saturday with artists' talks by talented Ngarrindjeri artist , being presented alongside works from . Arts Ceduna are very excited to share some of their handmade and or created artworks. Thanks to Ku-arts & all involved.

Apply now for the SALA SOLO opportunity, where the selected artist will be supported to produce new photographic work to be exhibited at Praxis Artspace during SALA Festival 2026!

Prize includes in-kind production (printing & mounting) from Atkins Pro Lab, mentorship/tuition from Gavin Blake, director of Centre for Creative Photography, Adelaide, use of the front gallery at praxis ARTSPACE during August & a premium registration in the 2026 SALA Festival.

Congratulations to Josephine Lennon on her residency opportunity , working on her creative artpieces for some months, leading up to the Exhibition opening. We would like to acknowledge Nature Foundation, which is funded by Arts Ceduna through IVAIS with studio support, stretching and freight costs. We have also had support from transport to attend the Residency.

Our Local artists have been working on Sculptural works made from Ghost nets, Marine Debris material that's recycled to represent works around 'Water'. We have all enjoyed the workshops, experimenting with a different medium. See below for more details. Opening tonight in Adelaide.
