Ceduna Online began October 25, 2016, in the home office of local resident Shanna Pedler. Originally started as a shop local Christmas campaign after local businesses were hit with two major power outages & the cancellation of the annual Oysterfest event. The resulting loss of community revenue from these events, & the already dire consequences of online shopping, set Shanna about using her, then,
10 years of online working experience, toward creating a highly proactive entity via which to promote local shopping in an attempt to highlight the need to shop local for Christmas that year. Ceduna Online has since rebranded into The Ceduna Regional Community Network and expanded to become a promoter of the community in general, a platform where the community promotes and advocates for itself, yet has always maintained its original focus of being a shop local promoter. A public promotional network for sharing instant messages with locals and visitors. A place where our community can share positivity and support one another to boost community prosperity, improvement and connection. A platform provided for the community to share messages, ask questions, and inform, encourage, promote and support one another to actively participate in the assistance, benefit and success of the region collectively. A team of local community representatives who actively work to ensure your experience is pleasant and safe, spam free and scam free and free from anti-social interactions.
