Taking a minute to appreciate the colours in this begonia Rex ♥️♥️

🌱The Rex Begonia is one of the world’s most admired foliage plants, celebrated for its striking leaves rather than its flowers. Its large, spiralled foliage comes in an incredible range of colours including silver, burgundy, red, pink, purple, green, and black, often with metallic sheens and intricate patterns.
The Begonia rex species is native to the humid tropical forests of Northeast India (Assam), southern China, and northern Vietnam. Most Rex Begonias sold today are hybrids bred from Begonia rex and other rhizomatous begonias to create the spectacular colours and patterns available today.
There are over 2,000 species of Begonia worldwide and thousands of Rex Begonia hybrids.

Featuring beautifully decorated leaves, Calathea Network (Calathea musaica) features an intricate network of deep green veining contrasting with the bright green leaves, giving an almost variegated effect.
alathea musaica (botanically known as Goeppertia kegeljanii) originates from the shaded, tropical rainforests of Brazil. It thrives in the warm, humid environment of the forest floor, where it receives diffused, filtered light.
The term “musaica” is a reference to the word “mosaic”. It describes the plant’s distinctive, striking foliage, which features a grid of dark and light green lines that resemble an intricate geometric mosaic or digital network. Because of this unique pattern, it is also widely popular in the houseplant trade by the common names Network Plant and Network Prayer Plant.

♥️ Calathea zebrina ♥️

The Calathea Zebrina, often called the Zebra Plant, is loved for its bold, velvety leaves patterned with soft lime-green stripes against deep green foliage.
Calathea Zebrina is native to the tropical rainforests of southeastern Brazil. In its natural habitat, this evergreen perennial grows as an understory plant, thriving in the warm, humid, and shaded conditions beneath the jungle canopy.
Zebrina is a member of the Marantaceae or prayer plant family.
While the zebra plant was formerly classified in the Calathea genus, it and many other calatheas were moved to a different genus in 2012 known as Goeppertia.

🩷 Philodendron Brasil 🩷

Philodendron ‘Brasil’ is a fast-growing tropical vine prized for its glossy, heart-shaped leaves splashed with bright lime-green, chartreuse, and deep emerald green. Each leaf has a unique variegation pattern, making every plant slightly different. It can trail beautifully from hanging baskets or climb a support, producing larger leaves as it matures.
Despite its name, ‘Brasil’ is a cultivated variety (cultivar) rather than a naturally occurring species. It was developed from the wild species Philodendron hederaceum, which is native to the tropical rainforests of:

* Colombia
* Venezuela
* Guyana
* Suriname
* French Guiana
* Parts of Central America and the Caribbean
The cultivar’s name “Brasil” was inspired by its vibrant green and yellow colouring, reminiscent of the Brazilian flag.
