When did “everyone’s doing it” become a reason to do something?

If your style, your art, your business, your entire fu***ng identity is built around what’s currently performing well…

whose is it?

Trends are easy.

Imitation is safe.

Cookie cutter is comfortable.

But why the hell would you want to be comfortable when you could be unmistakable?

Don’t fit in.
Don’t follow.
Don’t replicate.

Make them gasp.

Make them stare.

Make them wonder where the f**k you came from.

Be original.

A little life update from the bench 🖤

Things have been BUSY around here lately. I’ve been quietly working away behind the scenes, getting ready for the Western Makers Expo… and this time around, I’m aiming to have 20 handmade buckles available. 👀

And if I can keep my s**t together long enough to finish everything on the bench 😂 there’ll be a whole bunch of earrings, rings and other pieces joining them too.

It’s been a pretty wild season of making, learning, working and trying to keep Cosmic Vaquera moving forward alongside everything else life throws at me.

But we’re getting there. Slowly, chaotically, one piece at a time. 🖤
