Nappy changes don't always go to plan, and that's completely normal! 😅

From choosing the wrong size to forgetting to pull out the leg guards, there are a few little mistakes that can make nappy changes harder than they need to be.

Our latest blog covers 7 common nappy changing mistakes and, more importantly, some simple ways to avoid them:

👶 Choosing the wrong size – frequent leaks, red marks or tabs that barely meet can be signs it's time to move up a size.

💧 Waiting too long between changes – regular changes help keep your baby's skin clean and comfortable.

🧼 Not cleaning properly – especially around those little skin folds! Taking a few extra seconds can make a difference.

🌬️ Forgetting to dry the skin – a gentle pat dry or a little air time before putting on a fresh nappy can help.

🤗 Fastening too tightly – you want a secure, comfortable fit, not a squeeze!

👜 Running out of supplies mid-change – because once that nappy comes off, you don't want to discover you've run out of wipes! 😆

And don't forget those leg guards - pulling them gently outwards after fastening can help prevent leaks and potentially save an outfit change.

No parent gets every nappy change perfect, so don't worry if you've made one (or all!) of these mistakes. We've all been there! ❤️
