Cheltenham Youth Club was founded by Barbara Cunningham following her participation in Women's Artistic Gymnastics at the 1956 Olympic Games. Today, the club is home to more than 1,000 athletes across gymnastics and trampolining programs, including Olympian and Commonwealth Games gold medallist Kate McDonald. Through a longstanding commitment to excellence, Cheltenham Youth Club has developed a proud reputation for nurturing athletes of all ages and abilities, from beginners through to international representatives.
Funds raised through this initiative will directly support our Financial Assistance Program, helping families experiencing financial hardship remain involved in the sport they love. By reducing financial barriers, we aim to ensure every athlete has the opportunity to continue participating, developing their skills, and enjoying the many physical, social, and personal benefits that gymnastics provides.
