Warhammer - Cheltenham - VIC Warhammer - Cheltenham VIC Manager: Jenny Watson

06/09/2026

Goodbye CheltenHammers!

I want to say again what an honour and privilege it has been to watch all of your hobby and our community grow these past 13 years.
The games night fish & chips, the Boxing Day dice games, store anniversaries, Titan piñatas, Apocalypse games and midnight releases. I'm so proud of all of us. We gave it our best, and though the store might be over, our hobby journeys and the friendships forged continue on. And remember that Cheltenham broke before the CheltenHammers did 🖤

After more than 12 years, the Cheltenham store in Australia will be closing its doors for the last time on Sunday 6th September.

We'd like to thank everyone who's been part of and supported our community over the years, whether you visited us in Cheltenham or joined us from the Southland store way back!

Braeden, Chris and Fletcher are working in the store over the next few weeks, and Jenny will be making her return in the final week, so we'd love for you to drop by before we close.

The journey is far from over, though; we'd like to invite you all to head over to visit Warhammer - Chadstone for all of your Warhammer needs.

If anyone has a favourite memory from a visit to the store or photos of miniatures you're proud of that you'd like to share, we'd love to hear about it in the comments!

Spearhead and Combat Patrol are both great ways of starting a new army, and collecting different ones to change up your painting and play in small games. Whilst rule of cool should always help guide you to your next project, what else do you look for in a Spearhead or Combat Patrol box?
