✨✨SHOP/ PERSONAL UPDATE✨✨PLS READ✨✨
Hey all, Sammi here. It’s been a little while since we posted, and a lot has been happening.
Those of you who have been shopping with us for a while will know that I have been struggling with my health for many years. Recently I have officially received my diagnosis’s of Chronic Fatigue and Dysautonomia from my specialist health care team.
My health care team have all recommended that I need to severely reduce the amount of things I do per day and per week. Right now I have a full time job and the shop. My specialists don’t even want me working full time (they recommend I only work part time at most, to manage my activity levels). As much as I wish I could just do the shop, the shop has not been a sustainable form of income since COVID started. Before COVID started we were growing, and I loved making products for you all, but the changes to international post costs really has impacted our ability to sell overseas, and we have had a steep decline in sales domestically too.
On top of this, Annie is also working full time now, and has significantly less time for the shop. Also, my lease is ending soon (our rental is being sold) and so I may soon be homeless due to the severe lack of rentals in this area.. 😓 which means I won’t have a space to operate the shop out of.
This leads to our announcement: Unfortunately we will be closing the shop. We aren’t fully ruling out reopening in the distant future (like… maybe a 0.01% chance we’d reopen lol), but I just don’t see at this stage how I can manage this shop, and also manage a job. And I have to have an income to be able to pay my bills. Also, I may still post occasionally to this account, and will be around if you want to DM me 💜 but yeah, we are closing 😓
We are going to put the entire shop on a 30-50% discount for the next 2ish weeks, or until stock runs out.
Friday the 10th of December will be our last day open.
Lastly, we will also be relisting some of our old designs from back when we were “Pomegranate Pins and Prints” to give y’all one last chance to order these designs before we close 💜
