10 years ago today.

On 12th October 2016, our very first laser arrived at Phrax Laser.

Fresh off the truck, still packed in its wooden crate, and the beginning of what would become a decade of manufacturing, problem-solving and working with businesses across Australia in a wide range of industries.

A lot has changed since that first delivery. We’ve expanded our capabilities, taken on new challenges and had the opportunity to work on some pretty incredible projects along the way.

We’re proud of how far Phrax Laser has come and incredibly grateful to our team, customers, suppliers and everyone who’s supported us over the years.

We recently worked with South Australian Forest Products Association to create these mini houses as Christmas gifts for every Member of South Australian State Parliament, highlighting the importance of sustainable, locally grown timber.🌲

Using 3mm plywood, we laser cut components for 100 mini houses, then laser engraved an infographic about South Australian timber onto each roof piece.
A thoughtful and engaging way to bring SAFPA’s sustainability message to life.

We recently brought this awesome idea from Santos to life - a logo transformed into a giant custom cut 20 piece puzzle!

Last year we had the pleasure of working with Rik from falchcustomguitars to create custom pickguards and MDF body templates to assist him in crafting a range of custom guitars!

This one features an acrylic pickguard we made and the guitar body was also made using one of the templates we cut! This was an awesome project to work on and it was so exciting to see it come to life!

Happy New Year! 🎉
If you’ve come by our office in the last few months of 2024 you may have noticed we’ve relocated just down the road to 819 South Road, Clarence Gardens.
We’re all settled in now and we recently had our signage installed by Will at signsupplysa!
