Look and Learn Club
Monday 6th July 2026
Ocean Keys Sewing Centre
with a starting time of 10am.
Winter is here so don't forget to rug up!
If you happen to arrive a little early or wish to stay after you are welcome to make yourself a hot tea or coffee.
Please come along with what you are sewing/making to
show (finished or not) and hopefully you will inspire everyone.
Sometimes just getting an idea from seeing a project that someone else had made is all that you need to get started on one yourself.
--------------------------------
Our aim is to hold an informal and relaxed friendly meeting.
We enjoy these sessions and hope that you will do as well.
Do come and catch up with friends and join in the fun!
Please EMAIL
[email protected]

Cost of each meeting is $5. (cash only) which will go towards our charity work.
You are welcome to stay and have a tea or coffee with us
after the Look and learn meeting.
If you can't make it remember that photos of shown items will be available to view on Ocean Keys Sewing page later that week. There is a link is on the website.

Charity Sewing - Monday afternoon
Monday 13th and 27th July 2026
1pm to 4pm
If you have been busy cleaning your sewing room and have any cotton fabrics or wadding/batting, you no longer need we are happy to receive them.
Our charity sewing sessions are still popular. The sewing is not difficult, and it is a fun way to learn patchwork and at the same time help make a someone in need or a young child’s life a little better. Not all sewing is quilts we are also making bags/pouches, place mats and library bags for Grandparents raising Grand kids.
If you are a beginner or more experienced, it doesn’t matter - all are welcome. All you need to bring is your sewing machine, threads, pins and scissors then we will supply the rest.
We are making quilts for people to let them know that someone does care, as well as library bags and large 'sacks' for lots of items.
We are donating them to No Limits at Wanneroo (who also pass them onto other organizations. (they can be found on web google No Limits)
Check out some of the items we have finished on our page.
Please contact us if you wish to attend as occasionally, we just don't have enough room for everyone, and we can always give you some 'homework'.
