We wanted to answer one of the most common questions we get, which is tougher: laminate, hybrid, or vinyl? So we ran a real test. Seven floors, one screwdriver, and five days of red wine and black coffee. 🍷🔩

Laminate won, and it wasn't close. The cheapest board on the bench came away with no visible damage and shed the wine completely after five days. Every hybrid and vinyl sample was marked, and a 0.3mm vinyl was the only one the screwdriver punched straight through.

But here's the part worth knowing: this doesn't make laminate the right floor for every room. Moisture resistance, noise, and underfoot comfort are all separate conversations.
