Two Local Bayside Artists Return to Cleveland’s Historic Old Schoolhouse Gallery for an Exclusive Duo Exhibition
The Old Schoolhouse Gallery is proud to welcome back former gallery members : artists, Jenny McNamara and Jess King, for a month-long collaborative exhibition titled Parallel.
The exhibition will run from Thursday 3rd September to Sunday 27th 2026.
Jenny and Jess first met as members of Old Schoolhouse Gallery holding their first exhibition together 8 years ago and their creative journeys have run parallel ever since. This exhibition Parallel celebrates the unique ways each of them interpret the world around them. Visitors to the OSHG in September can expect a diverse range of oils and acrylics, incorporating vibrant still life pieces and nostalgic landscapes. It celebrates their creative timeline with a mix of previous and current work. “This gallery space holds a truly special place in our hearts, we may never have met if we hadn’t crossed paths at OSHG” says Jess. Jenny goes on to say “ From the first time we exhibited together our artwork felt like a perfect match. That’s how I view our friendship; we just clicked and over time we have discovered many aspects of our lives run parallel.”
The public is warmly invited to attend the Opening Night Celebrations on Saturday, 5th September 5pm - 7pm. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists, discuss their work and studio processes, with complimentary w**e and nibbles on offer.
