All candles and melts are hand poured using soy wax and are scented with fragrance oils designed for use in soy wax products and made here in Australia. Also on offer are a range of wax melters and diffusers. Each bath and body product, including the moisturisers and balms, are made from scratch using raw ingredients and recipes that go through rigorous testing. Products that require a preservative system (anything containing or coming into contact with water), is preserved with a paraben free, broad-spectrum Preservative system. I have been absolutely amazed by the response to the Bare Essentials soap range! Introduced back in late March, this collection was my direct answer to the economic struggles so many of us are facing. While other businesses were pushing prices up, I wanted to find a way to bring them down.

By offering our unlabelled, unpackaged wholesale soaps directly to you for retail, I was able to offer them at crazy low prices for what was meant to be a limited time. Because I have always sold my soaps fully packaged for face-to-face markets, I wasn’t sure how they would be received. But you have blown me away! So many of you love the lack of packaging (aside from the minimal wrap used to keep them safe during shipping) and have asked if they can become a permanent fixture.

The short answer is yes! I am working hard behind the scenes to make Bare Essentials a permanent range, but I have two main hurdles to clear first.

The first is space. I am completely running out of room in the studio, so I need to be incredibly clever with how I store and organize everything. Don’t worry, I already have a plan brewing!

The second hurdle is price. To restock the range, I have had to replace raw ingredients at today's higher costs. Because of this, the current introductory pricing simply isn’t sustainable. However, I still absolutely want to pass the savings of no packaging on to you.

June will be the final month to grab the Bare Essentials soaps at their current low prices. From the 1st of July, new pricing will come into effect. While the single bar price will increase, I will be introducing multi-buy specials so the more you stock up, the more you save!

This transition will also change how our wholesale ordering works, as wholesale accounts will soon order directly from the Bare Essentials range with pricing scaled for larger quantities. I will share more details on that soon.

In the meantime, make sure to get your orders in this June to lock in the absolute lowest prices!

Winter has arrived with a vengeance! One day we were enjoying 28°C days, and the next, the cold, biting winds hit us.

With the sudden turn in the weather, many of you have been reaching out for tallow-based skincare to rescue dry, wind-chapped skin. Tallow is deeply nourishing because its lipid profile closely mirrors human sebum, allowing it to absorb effortlessly without clogging pores. It is packed with fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, which work together to protect the skin barrier and deliver intense, long-lasting hydration.

Because I offer a cream and a balm, I am often asked what the difference is. The main distinction comes down to the presence of water, which completely changes the texture and how the cream behaves on the skin.

For the colder months, the Balm is an absolute lifesaver. It is a rich, completely waterless blend of tallow, nourishing oils, and protective waxes that forms a heavy-duty, breathable barrier on the skin. It is perfect for locking in moisture, soothing raw areas, and protecting your skin from harsh, drying winds.

On the other hand, the Cream is an emulsion available all year round that incorporates water alongside the tallow, as well as soothing honey and chamomile extract. This creates a much lighter, lotion-like texture that absorbs rapidly and delivers immediate, refreshing hydration deep into the skin layers without leaving a heavy residue.

Choosing between the two ultimately comes down to personal preference and your daily routine. If you absolutely cannot stand the heavy, protective feeling of a traditional balm, the Cream is definitely the way to go. It offers all the incredible, vitamin-rich benefits of tallow but in a lightweight formula that sinks in instantly, leaving your skin feeling soft and breathable.

However, if your skin is severely dry, cracking, or constantly exposed to the elements, the Balm provides that extra, long-lasting shield your skin barrier needs to heal. You can even mix and match by using the fast-absorbing cream during the day and saving the rich balm as a deeply restorative overnight treatment.

I must admit I was really nervous about releasing the new Roll-On Deodorant, but it looks like those nerves were completely for nothing! 😁

Although many of you love the Solid Deodorants on offer, they can sometimes be a tough sell. One big reason for this is that I completely avoid using bicarb soda as the deodoriser, since it can be so harsh on sensitive skin. Instead, I rely on three premium, skin-loving, odour-fighting ingredients that come at a higher cost but are much kinder to your underarms.

When formulating the new Roll-On version, I had two massive goals: I wanted it to be 100% natural, and I wanted to offer it at a much better, more accessible price point.
