The Cup Collective is a group exhibition celebrating Victorian ceramicists who have reimagined the classic cup, exploring its form, function, and the many ways it can be made their own.

Join us for an evening of ceramics, conversation, and drinks by , with a menu inspired by different times of the day and what your cup might be filled with.

Whether you're a ceramic lover, collector, or local potter, this is a chance to connect with our creative community and perhaps find your next favourite cup.

Porcelain Platters for Sofitel on Collins.

These porcelain platters were designed to be part of the VIP room turndown service during the Australian Open 2018. The platters reflected the French heritage of the hotel, and took inspiration in architectural structures of the hotel itself and Louvre with its glass pyramid, both designed by the iconic architect I.M. Pei.

CALLING ALL VICTORIAN CERAMICISTS & CREATIVES

Expressions of Interest are now open for The Cup Collective, a new exhibition celebrating the creativity, craftsmanship and experimentation of Victoria's ceramic community.
We're inviting ceramicists, artists, designers and makers based in Victoria to submit one existing drinking vessel to our upcoming exhibition. Whether it's a cup, mug, tumbler, beaker or an experimental interpretation of a drinking vessel, we want to celebrate the many ways this everyday object can be explored through clay.

This is an opportunity to showcase your work alongside a diverse collection of makers who are pushing the boundaries of form, colour, glaze and surface.

Who can apply?
• Victorian ceramicists and creatives
• All experience levels welcome
• Up to 3 existing ceramic drinking vessel per person

Key Dates
EOI closes: Monday 11th August, 10:00am (AEST)
Successful applicants notified: Wednesday 12th August via email

How to apply
Complete the Expression of Interest form via the link in our bio.
Upload images and details of your drinking vessel.
We'll be in touch on 12th August if your work has been selected.

Expressions of Interest are now open for The Cup Collective, a new exhibition celebrating the creativity, craftsmanship and experimentation of Victoria's ceramic community.
We're inviting ceramicists, artists, designers and makers based in Victoria to submit up to three existing drinking vessels to our upcoming exhibition. Whether it's a cup, mug, tumbler, beaker or an experimental interpretation of a cup, we want to celebrate the many ways this everyday object can be explored through clay.
